How to transfer your domain name from Bluehost to Namecheap
It was very difficult to find for the solution from google until I personally solved it by myself. I think it is good to share with you all. Before that, I tried to read the namecheap explanation and did as what it explained to us but I failed for 3 times. Eventually, I only realized why I can’t transfer it to namecheap - all is because I had done a small mistake - I did not disable my domain privacy that went to failure.
That’s why I need to point out certain important things to everybody who wants to transfer their domain to Namecheap or even like goDaddy, please aware of the following things:
Go to bluehost, where you purchased your domain name from,
1) Unlock your domain
2) Copy your EPP Code from Bluehost and submit to Namecheap transfer EPP Code
3) Pause your Domain privacy so that your contact is displayed in the public Whois
4) Click on ‘Contacts’, check on Admin Billing, check the email address - this is where namecheap will acknowledge you and send you a confirmation to this email address.
Once you had done all these, Woala! I believe you will be able to transfer your domain to namecheap successfully.
